2 Minors Killed as Bike Rams Into Tree in Odisha’s Kalahandi

Kalahandi: In a devastating road accident near Alim village under Palam outpost and Kesinga police limits in Kalahandi district, two young boys lost their lives today. The victims, identified as Debaraj Bhoi and Subham Dora, hailed from the same village.

Reports suggest that Debaraj and Subham were returning home after a trip to the marketplace in Palam to buy vegetables when the accident occurred. Unfortunately, they lost control of their motorcycle (registration number OD-03 Y-8495) and collided with a tree, resulting in their immediate demise. Eyewitnesses described the front portion of the motorcycle as severely damaged.

Local residents rushed the minors to a nearby hospital in Kesinga, where medical professionals pronounced them dead upon arrival.

Upon receiving notification, Kesinga police promptly arrived at the scene, securing the bodies and the vehicle involved. An investigation into the incident is currently underway, with authorities awaiting the results of the post-mortem examinations.
