Women SHG Members Call On, Present Tricolour To CM Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Members of Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) under Mission Shakti Department of the State Government called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday.

The women SHG members presented the Indian National Flag which has been made by them on the occasion of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, or diamond jubilee of Indian Independence.

The State Government has given the responsibility of making and distributing 30 lakh national flags to Mission Shakti SHGs.

On the occasion, during an informal meeting with SHG members at Naveen Nivas, the CM thanked them for the gesture and glorious efforts to make the national flag.
