Youth Arrested For Sharing Morphed Obscene Video of Minor Girl on Facebook

Bhubaneswar: A youth of Samantarapur area of Bhubaneswar was arrested on charges of uploading morphed video clip of a minor girl on social media by the cyber police on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the accused Mukesh Nayak was using a fake Facebook account with the name ‘Cute Nandini’ to befriend girls. He had got the minor girl in the friend list of this account and used to chat with her. When he asked the minor girl to send her nude pictures, the disgusted victim blocked him.

Later Mukesh used the victim’s photos to prepare morphed lewd clips and photos, which he shared on social media. When her family came to know about it, they registered a complaint at the cyber police station.

Police have also seized mobile phone of Mukesh, which has been sent for forensic examination.
