Youth Jumps Off Dhenkanal DHH Building After Failing To End Life Earlier

Dhenkanal: A youth from Dhenkanal attempted suicide by jumping off the fifth floor of the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Dhenkanal on Saturday just hours after failing to end his life by cutting his wrists and throat.

The youth identified as Chandan Naik of Doma Sahi of Parjang in Dhenkanal district.

After attempting the suicide bid, he has survived with critical injuries and is undergoing treatment at the DHH.

According to reports, Nayak had attempted suicide by cutting his hand and neck this morning. Following this, he was admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

While undergoing treatment, at around 3 PM today he jumped from the fifth floor of the hospital in yet another attempt to commit suicide.

However, the reason behind his several attempts to commit suicide is yet to be ascertained.
