Indian rockets get new technology, ISRO successfully tested 30 kN hybrid motor

New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully tested the hybrid motor. This test will help a lot in sending launch vehicles i.e. rockets to space because due to this motor, when the rocket is launched, this motor will provide more energy to the rocket. Due to this, the rocket will be able to push in the position of gravitational force at a higher speed than before.

Bengaluru-based ISRO Headquarters has informed that the 30 kN hybrid motor was tested at ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) in Mahendragiri, Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, which was successful. The organization has informed us that ISRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Center (LPSC) assisted in this test. Hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene (HTPB) was used as fuel in the motor, the statement said. ISRO said that unlike the solid-solid or liquid-liquid mixture, the hybrid motor uses solid fuel and liquid oxygen, due to which can prove to be more effective than the previous motors.

ISRO has informed that during the testing of the 30KN hybrid motor on Tuesday, this motor kept working continuously for the prescribed 15 seconds and its performance was very good. ISRO says that it is easier to manage HTPB and Liquid Oxygen in rockets sent to space. This fuel will be used in this motor.
