IndvsAus 4th Test: Khawaja’s Ton Guides Australia To 255/4 At Stumps

Ahmedabad: Opener Usman Khawaja’s brilliant century guided Australia to 255/4 at stumps on Day 1 of the fourth Test against India in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

Australia lost four wickets but Khawaja, who brought up his 14th Test ton, kept the visitors in a strong position.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and elected to bat first.

Apart from him, Cameron Green remained unbeaten at 49.

For India, Mohammed Shami has scalped two, while Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have scalped one wicket each.
