PV Sindhu Withdraws from BWF World Tour Finals 2022

New Delhi: Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has withdrawn from the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals 2022. The tournament is going to be held in Guangzhou, China, from December 14.

She sustained a stress fracture in her left ankle en route to winning a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

PV Sindhu, a double Olympic medal winner, and 2018 BWF World Tour Finals women’s singles champion. She is ranked number 5 in the world’s best badminton player list.

The Sindhu camp has already informed the Badminton Association of India (BAI) about her withdrawal from the tour.
