Iran Says Retaliatory Attack On Israel Has “Concluded”

Tehran: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military commander, Mohammad Bagheri, has declared the completion of Iran’s operation against Israel. However, Bagheri stressed that Iranian armed forces remain on high alert and stand ready to engage if necessary.

The operation, which involved the launch of over 300 drones and missiles at Israel, was confirmed by Iran on April 14.

Tensions between the two nations escalated following an Israeli airstrike in Damascus on April 1, which resulted in the death of 16 individuals, including General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and his deputy, Mohammad Haji Rahimi, both high-ranking IRGC officials in Syria and Lebanon.

Meanwhile, India has expressed deep concern regarding the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, urging an immediate de-escalation of the conflict. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement on Sunday following Iran’s missile attack on Israel.
