Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi Named Accused In Salman Khan House Firing Case

Mumbai: Mumbai Police have implicated jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi in the recent shooting incident targeting Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence. Two suspects, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), have been arrested in connection with the case. Investigations indicate their alleged affiliation with the Bishnoi gang.

The shooters, riding a motorcycle, fired four shots outside Salman Khan’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area on April 14 around 5 am before fleeing. Gujarat authorities arrested Gupta and Pal two days later.

During interrogation, the suspects confessed to being hired by the Bishnoi gang. Police identified Anmol Bishnoi, brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, as a key figure in the case and he is currently on the run.

Authorities are considering issuing a lookout notice for Anmol Bishnoi and seeking his custody. The investigation revealed the motive behind the shooting was to instill “terror.”

The case has been registered under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including criminal intimidation, abetment of an offence punishable with death or life imprisonment, and destroying evidence.
