Shooting of ‘Border 2’ Starring Sunny Deol, Ayushman Khurrana to Start in October

The shooting for the sequel of the 1997 blockbuster, ‘Border’ starring Sunny Deol and Ayushmann Khurrana will start in October 2024.

‘Border 2’ will be directed by Anurag Singh. It is being produced by JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar.

As per reports, ‘Border 2’ is expected to hit the screens on the Republic Day weekend in 2026.

India Today quoted a source close to the ‘Border 2’ team as saying, “The team behind ‘Border 2’ has been working tirelessly to prepare everything and it’s been a long time in the making as they wanted to do justice to the magnitude of the first film. Now, as the preparations are almost done, the team will begin shooting. As it stands now, the team will begin shooting in October.”

As per the revelation by Sunny Deol in a recent interview, ‘Border 2’ starring Sunny Deol was shelved in 2015 as the star was not having a successful stint in movies at that time. After the success of ‘Gadar 2’ Sunny Deol is gain a saleable star.
