Sisodia’s Judicial Custody Extended till May 31

New Delhi: The judicial custody of AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia in the alleged liquor policy scam was extended till May 31 by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday.

Sisodia is in custody since February 26, 2023. Initially, he was arrested by the CBI and later he was arrested by the ED.

Later on Tuesday, a bench of the Delhi High Court is to pronounce its verdict on the bail plea filed by Sisodia.

A total of 18 persons have been arrested in the case so far. They include Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, several AAP leaders, BRS leader K. Kavitha, and others.
