2 Children among 6 Members of a Family Charred to Death in Telangana Fire Accident  

Hyderabad: Six members of a family were burnt alive together when their house in Venkatpur in Telangana’s Mancharyala district was gutted in a fire accident in the wee hours of Saturday. The deceased included two minor girls.

According to police sources, the persons charred to death in this fire accident included the owner of the house Shivayya (50), his wife Padma (45), Padma’s niece Maunika (23), and her two daughters.

Noticing flames coming out of the house, neighbours alerted the other villagers and the police. But by the time police and fire brigade reached the spot, the house was totally gutted along with the inhabitants in it.

The cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
