Morning Classes In Odisha Schools From April 17

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Saturday directed the schools to hold morning classes from April 17 in view of the rising temperature in the state.

Reportedly, all government, government-aided private schools across the State to hold morning classes from 6.30 AM to 11.00 AM for classes I to XII from April 17.

However, taking into account the prevailing heatwave condition in their localities district Collectors can modify school timings, said an official press release.

The schools have been directed to arrange drinking water and other facilities for their students.

Notably, the government had announced the closure of all schools and Anganwadi Centres in Odisha till April 16 in view of the heatwave condition in the state.
