Bus Carrying 50 Persons Overturned In Keonjhar, 15 Injured

Keonjhar: At least 15 persons were injured after a Bhubaneswar-bound bus carrying around 50 passengers met with an accident at Godabhanga ghat under Anandpur block of Keonjhar district.

According to reports, the incident took place at around 1.30 am when the ill-fated vehicle was heading towards the capital city from Jamda in Mayurbhanj when the rice-laden truck hit the bus from the rear, following which its driver lost control over the wheels and overturned.

The victims were rescued by locals and later rushed to Anandpur Hospital for treatment.

On being informed, police reached the spot and initiated an investigation.
