Constable’s Body Recovered From Pond In Front Of Police Station In Keonjhar

Keonjhar:  A constable was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a pond in front of Nandipada police station in Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Nayak of Harichandanpur area in the district.

According to reports, Nayak had gone missing last evening. Following this, they launched a frantic search but in vain. Later his body was found floating in the pond, this morning.

On being informed, firefighters reached the spot and fished out the body from the pond.

Police have started an investigation into the incident. The reason behind the death was yet to be ascertained.
