IT Raids on Real Estate Company With Alleged DMK Links in TN

Chennai: The Income Tax Department on Monday conducted raids at multiple locations in Tamil Nadu. A real estate company named G Square was targeted by the IT department. This company is said to be having links with the ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu.

The DMK and G Square company relations have led to political controversies in Tamil Nadu in the past. The leaders of the opposition BJP have in the past alleged that top leaders of the ruling DMK were instrumental in the growth and prosperity of this real estate company in Tamil Nadu. DMK cadres held a protest after the Income Tax officers raided the house of Anna Nagar DMK MLA MK Mohan’s son, who is a shareholder of firm G Square.
