Three Smugglers Held With Over 1.5 Quintal Of Ganja In Angul

Angul: The special task force along with the district police arrested three persons for keeping and trading contraband at Chandrapur under Athamalik police station in the district today.

Acting on a tip-off, the joint team conducted a raid at the village and arrested Sarmit Urma, Rohit Behera, and Sunil Deep.

Sarmit and Rohit belong to the Athamalik area while Sunil is a resident of Boudh.

During the search, Ganja more than 161 kg and other incriminating materials were seized from their possession. A case has been registered on the report of STF at Athamalik Police Station, officials said.
