4 from Odisha Killed in Ambulance Accident in Andhra Pradesh

Bhubaneswar: Four persons from Odisha died in a road accident in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh on Friday. Three others were also critically injured in this accident.

The deceased included a woman.

According to reports, this fatal accident occurred near Tellagundalapalli in Thavanampalle mandal of Chittoor district when an ambulance rammed into an oil tanker parked on the road, said reports.

The ill-fated ambulance was transporting a patient from Bengaluru to RIMS Hospital at Tirupati. Three others were travelling with him in the ambulance. All of them were killed. All deceased were inhabitants of Odisha.

According to Andhra Pradesh media, the persons killed in this accident included the patient Umses Chandra Sahu (46), Trilokchand Naik (63), Rashmita Sahu (45) and Vijaya Naik (56).
