Sexual Harassment by Retired Headmaster at Bengaluru Mall, Accused Surrenders

Bengaluru: A 60-year-old retired school headmaster was found to be involved in sexual harassment of young girls at the Lulu Mall in Bengaluru. He later surrendered before the police, when his deplorable act became viral on social media.

The erring headmaster was identified as Ashwath Narayana. As per the CCTV footage at the mall, the accused had sexually harassed several females at the mall.

It is suspected that he used to spend weekends at the mall to take advantage of the crowd to inappropriately touch the young women.

Police are investigating whether the accused was involved in similar act in other malls in the city, in the past.

Police launched a manhunt to nab the headmaster, when a video of a young woman being sexually harassed by the accused at a mall became viral on social media. This compelled the accused to surrender before police.
