Youth Kidnapped Near Shopping Mall in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A youth was allegedly kidnapped by some unidentified miscreants from the vicinity of a well-known shopping mall in Rasulgarh area of Bhubaneswar on Tuesday evening.

The victim has been identified as Priyabrata Sahoo of Belabahali village under Anandapur police station limits in Keonjhar district.

According to reports, Priyabrata along with a friend was on his way to the shopping mall, when he was intercepted by the miscreants and kidnapped. According to eyewitnesses, he was taken away in a white car.

Priyabrata’s friend lodged an FIR with Sahid Nagar police regarding the incident.

The reason behind this kidnapping has not been ascertained.
