Gunmen Abduct 9 from Bus, Shoot Them Dead in Pakistan’s Balochistan

A group of armed men shot dead nine men after abducting them from a bus in Balochistan province of Pakistan on Friday night.

No organization has claimed responsibility for this night attack. According to reports, a group of gunmen intercepted an Iran-bound bus in Noshki district. They abducted nine men, after coming to know that they were from the eastern province of Punjab. These ill-fated men were travelling to Taftan.

The abducted victims were shot dead from close range. Their bullet-ridden bodies were found under a bridge.

In the past ethnic Baloch insurgents have claimed responsibility for similar killings in the region. They have also targeted Chinese nationals in the area involved in the regional development projects as part of its $65 billion pledge under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
