7 Killed in Blast Triggered Fire at Pharma Company in Maharashtra

Mumbai: The fire that erupted following a blast at a pharmaceutical company in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Friday night has claimed seven lives.

Several others were injured in this accident. NDRF personnel are conducting search operations to trace missing individuals. This mishap occurred at Blue Jet Healthcare on Friday.

NDRF recovered the seventh body from the fire-ravaged debris on Saturday.

As per locals, a fire broke out along with an explosion at the establishment at around 11 pm on Friday. It is suspected that the fire broke out due to a short circuit leading the barrels containing chemicals to explode.
