3 Inebriated Women Assault Cops Outside Bar in Maharashtra

Mumbai: Three women were arrested for attacking and abusing policemen in an inebriated state outside a bar in Virar’s Gokul Township in Maharashtra on the outskirts of Mumbai.

A team of police personnel rushed to the spot when they got the information that some women were creating a “ruckus” outside a restaurant bar.

These women allegedly had an argument with some other customers at the bar and they were asked to vacate the place.

A purported video clip of the misdeed of these women is viral on social media platforms. In this video, they can be seen arguing with policemen and also abusing them.

They also bit the hand of a lady police constable and ripped her uniform. They hit the head of another constable with a bucket and also bit his wrist.

The three arrested women were identified as Kavya, Ashwini, and Poonam. They were arrested and sent to judicial custody.
