Kejriwal Gets Interim Bail Till June 1 from Supreme Court

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was granted interim bail till June 1 by the Supreme Court on Friday in a money laundering case linked to Delhi excise policy scam.

A Bench of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Dipankar Datta ordered Kejriwal to surrender on June 2.

The Bench will pass its detailed order later.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta opposed the grant of interim bail to Kejriwal. Mehta cited the case of Amritpal Singh who has sought his release to contest Lok Sabha polls.
