Helicopter Crashes On Way to Pick Shiv Sena Leader in Maharashtra

Mumbai: A private helicopter on its way to pick up Shiv Sena leader Sushma Andhare crashed in Maharashtra’s Raigad during landing.

As per a live video recording shared on social media, the helicopter crashed while making a landing attempt. The chopper suddenly lost balance and crashed with a loud sound in a cloud of dust on an open ground.

The pilot of the chopper managed to jump off the ill-fated chopper. He received injuries. The helicopter was badly damaged in the crash that occurred at Mahad town in Raigad.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot to probe the incident.  Andhare, who was to fly by the crashed helicopter took a car ride to attend her election rallies in different parts of the Raigad district.
