Women Cops Arrest Prajwal Revanna In Sex Abuse Case As He Returns From Germany

Bengaluru: Karnataka lawmaker Prajwal Revanna, who escaped to Germany after several women made sex crimes allegations against him, was arrested by a team of female cops of the SIT, when he arrived at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport just after midnight.

It is alleged that the Hassan MP forced the women into sexual acts with him that were then filmed.

Prajwal Revanna flew back aboard Lufthansa flight LH0764. He had twice earlier cancelled flights home.

A special court in Bengaluru on Thursday rejected an anticipatory bail plea of Prajwal Revanna. The police searched his Hassan home and seized “incriminating material”.

The team of five women cops who arrested the MP was led by a woman IPS officer. It was a symbolic message by the Karnataka SIT.

Prajwal Revanna is seeking reelection as an NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha seat. He escaped out of India in April as explicit video clips showing him allegedly sexually abusing multiple women appeared in Karnataka.
