Senior Journo, Ex-HoD of Journalism of Berhampur Univ, Pradeep Mahapatra Passes Away

Bhubaneswar:  Senior journalist and former HoD of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Berhampur University, Dr Pradeep Mahapatra breathed his last on Friday morning at the age of 69.

He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was transferred from a hospital in Berhampur to Bhubaneswar after being diagnosed with a critical stage of pneumonia.

While undergoing treatment at the private hospital in Bhubaneswar, he was put on ventilator support.

During treatment, he suffered a cardiac arrest that led to serious damage to his brain.
