Noted Odia Cartoonist Gyana Rath Passes Away at 62

Bhubaneswar: Noted Odia cartoonist Gyana Rath passed away while undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack at the age of 62 years.

According to reports, the cartoonist was admitted to the hospital after getting injured in a road accident.

As a frontline cartoonist of the state, he had served several leading Odia newspapers.

He hailed from the Kesarpur village under the Danpur panchayat of Kendrapara district in Odisha. His death has been mourned by the media fraternity.
