Sambalpuri Singer Ruksana Bano Dies in AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Family Alleges “Slow-Poisoning”

Bhubaneswar: Popular Sambalpuri singer Ruksana Bano died while undergoing treatment at the AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

She was hospitalized in different hospitals since August 27.

Her family members have come up with the serious allegation that she became victim of “slow poisoning” by another Sambalpuri singer.

But as per reports, there are others who say Ruksana suffered Scrub Typhus infection.

According to sources, around 15 days back, Ruksana became ill while shooting for a song. She was initially admitted to a hospital in Bhawanipatna on August 27.  Later, she was referred to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in Balangir.

When her condition deteriorated, she was shifted to a private hospital in Bargarh. When there was no improvement in her health condition, she was admitted to the Bhubaneswar AIIMS. She failed to recover and passed away while undergoing treatment.
