Odisha CM Mohan Majhi to Campaign for BJP in Jharkhand

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi left for Jharkhand on Monday to campaign for the BJP ahead of the Assembly polls.

The Odisha Chief Minister took a flight from the Bhubaneswar Biju Patnaik International Airport at 10.00 am to reach Ranchi in Jharkhand. He is expected to visit the West Singhbhum areas by helicopter. The West Sighbhum region has a sizeable Odia population. So, the Odisha CM will campaign for the BJP in this area ahead of Jharkhand’s Assembly polls scheduled this year.

During his 2-day visit to Jharkhand, Majhi will take part in the BJP’s ‘Parivartan’ rally in Kolhan and will also address a public meeting at Majhagaon. He will have a night stay at Chaibasa Circuit House on Monday.

On Tuesday, he will address a public meeting at Chaibasa, which will also be attended by several other BJP leaders from Odisha.

Majhi will return to Bhubaneswar on Tuesday afternoon.
