Kanpur: A couple in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur conned around Rs 35 crore from a large number aged persons by promising to make them young through an “Israel-made time machine”.

The accused couple, Rajeev Kumar Dubey and his wife, Rashmi Dubey, opened a therapy center named ‘Revival World’ in Kanpur’s Kidwai Nagar area for their fraud.

They claimed that they have a machine from Israel that can transform a 60-year-old into a 25-year-old through “oxygen therapy”.

The couple cheated the gullible elderly persons by telling them that polluted air was speeding up their aging process and “oxygen therapy” by their machine would make them young in a few months.

The couple offered packages for Rs 6,000 for 10 sessions and Rs 90,000 for a three-year package, said police sources. Some victims approached the police only after getting cheated of lakhs of rupees.
