13-Yr-Old Girl Stripped, Filmed, Tortured by Woman & Two Sons in Gurugram

New Delhi: A 13-year-old girl kept as a maid was allegedly stripped, beaten with a hammer and iron rod, and filmed by a woman and her two sons in Gurugram, according to a police complaint filed by the victim’s mother.

It is alleged that the victim was given very little to eat and her mouth was taped.

The girl was working at a house in Sector 57, Gurugram’s Cuber City. It is alleged that the woman and her two sons threatened the minor that they would send her to a brothel if she did not obey them. The Gurugram family allegedly poured acid on her hands and threatened to kill her if she told anyone about it.

The rescuers found her locked inside a room with her mouth taped. She told the police that the woman made her do all kinds of work, from cooking to washing to taking care of a dog.

The victim’s mother in the complaint before police said she was not allowed to meet her daughter for the past four months and was not paid any salary for over four months.

The girl was rescued with the help of an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer, at whose home her mother works.

All three accused were arrested and booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and the Juvenile Justice Act.
