14 MBBS Students Fined Rs 50,000 Each for Ragging in Himachal Pradesh Medical College

Shimla: Fourteen MBBS students of Tanda Medical College in Himachal Pradesh were fined Rs 50,000 each for their involvement in ragging in the college hostel.

The students involved in ragging were also suspended from the college for three months and from the hostel for six months. These students punished for raging include 12 students of second year MBBS course and two of the first year. The two first-year students were punished for hiding the information from college authorities.

During inspection, the medical college authorities found that senior students were giving their notebooks to juniors for completion of their homework.
