2 Civilian Workers Burnt Alive in Army Camp in J&K’s Doda Dist

Srinagar: Two civilian workers were burnt alive in a fire accident inside an Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Purshotam (55) of Samba and Som Raj (45) of Kathua. Both were running a tailoring shop in the Arnoda Gatt Army camp.

It is suspected that the fire accident occurred because of some snag in a kerosene heater. The fire engulfed their tailoring shop and both victims could not save themselves.

The fire was reported at around 2.30 am and after extinguishing, two charred bodies of victims were recovered from the spot.
