2 Terrorists Slain in Encounter in Kashmir’s Kulgam

Srinagar: Two terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

This encounter occurred during a cordon-and-search operation in Kulgam’s Redwani village late on Monday night following intelligence reports about the presence of terrorists in the area.

The search operation sparked into an encounter.

The house, where the terrorists were hiding caught fire during the gun fight on Tuesday morning.

According to police sources, at least two bodies were seen at the encounter site and efforts are on to retrieve them.

The identity of the slain ultras had not been ascertained.
