2 Pakistan Soldiers Killed, 4 Injured As Armed Men Attack Pak Army’s Bomb Disposal Squad

At least two Pakistani soldiers died and four others were injured when unidentified armed men fired at a Pakistan Army bomb disposal team near the port city of Gwadar in Balochistan province.

The bomb disposal team faced the attack while it was clearing landmines in the Ankara Dam area on Sunday, reported the Dawn newspaper.

Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to trace the attackers.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The separatist Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which is opposed to China’s investment in Balochistan has, in the past, claimed most of the attacks in Gwadar.
