4 Engineering Students Involved in Bike Lifting Arrested in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: Five members of a bike lifters gang including four engineering students were arrested in Keonjhar on Wednesday. Four stolen bikes were seized from their possession.

Police tracked down this gang while investigating a case of the theft of a costly bike from the Madhapur area in the district on March 31.

An investigation led to a police raid near the mining area and the arrest of the five persons including the engineering students. The students were involved in this criminal activity for easy money and their passion for costly bikes, said police sources. The four stolen bikes were seized from the rented house in which the accused students were staying.
