5 of 6 Parliament Security Breach Accused Agree for Polygraph Test

New Delhi: Five of the six accused persons arrested in connection with the Parliament security breach on Friday gave their consent to conduct their polygraph test to a court in Delhi.

All accused persons, excluding Azad, gave their consent before the court for the polygraph lie detection test. The Delhi Police had earlier moved the court seeking permission to conduct the polygraph test of all the accused.

The Additional Sessions Judge Hardeep Kaur also extended the police custody of all the six accused, Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Dhanraj Shinde, Neelam Azad, Lalit Jha and Mahesh Kumawat, by eight days.

Delhi police produced the accused before the court on the expiry of their custody granted earlier and prayed for an extension of police custody for further investigation.
