6 Dead as Truck Crashes Into Car After Tyre Burst In Bihar

Patna: Six persons including a child died when a truck lost control and fell on an SUV on National Highway 80 in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district on Monday late night.

The accident occurred near the Aamapur village under the Ghogha police station.

According to sources, the passengers of the ill-fated SUV were part of a wedding party travelling from Dhapari in Munger to Shrimatpur in Kahalgaon.

The speeding truck, loaded with rods, overturned and fell on the car after a tyre burst.

The bodies were removed from the vehicle with the help of locals and officials with the assistance of an earthmover.
