Akhilesh Yadav Joins Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Agra

Agra: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Agra on Sunday. This comes days after the two parties sealed a seat-sharing agreement in Uttar Pradesh, aiming to present a united front against the ruling BJP.

The yatra witnessed enthusiastic participation from both Samajwadi Party and Congress workers, who cheered for their respective leaders. Accompanied by Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the leaders addressed the crowd and targeted the BJP government.

In his address, Yadav criticized the government’s policies, particularly its treatment of farmers. He expressed his belief that the upcoming elections will see the ouster of the BJP and the formation of an “INDIA coalition government” that respects the rights of farmers.

Yadav further accused the BJP of neglecting backward classes, Dalits, and minorities. Senior Congress leader Pradeep Mathur also joined the leaders and expressed optimism about the impact of the yatra on the upcoming polls.

“The Agra leg of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has definitely proven to be an ice-breaker,” Mathur said, highlighting the positive atmosphere and enthusiasm among workers from both parties. “This will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the Lok Sabha elections for both parties,” he added.
