ATM Van Looted of ₹1.5 Crore in Odisha’s Cuttack, Police Launch Manhunt

Cuttack: In a daring heist today, unidentified miscreants looted approximately Rs 1.5 crore from an ATM cash loading van in the Godijharia area under Tigiria police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack district.

According to reports, a group of 7-8 masked men intercepted the van and threatened its occupants at gunpoint. They then forcibly took away the trunk containing the substantial cash amount. The security guard present in the van revealed, “Around 7-8 masked men came in an SUV, intercepted the van, threatened us with guns and sharp weapons, and even snatched my gun. The looters then fled the scene with the trunk containing the cash.”

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. Law enforcement authorities are actively working to identify, trace, and apprehend the robbers responsible for this audacious act.
