Bhubaneswar: The iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack will be back in the ODI spotlight after a hiatus of over five years.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed today that the stadium will host the second ODI match between India and England on February 9, 2025.
This exciting announcement comes as part of a series between the two cricketing giants. The England Cricket Team will embark on a comprehensive tour of India, spanning January to February 2025.
The tour itinerary includes three Test matches, five T20 Internationals, and the three-match ODI series, with the second ODI happening at Barabati Stadium.
Located near the Mahanadi River, Barabati Stadium last hosted an ODI on December 22, 2019, where India defeated the West Indies by four wickets. The venue, with a capacity of 45,000, has seen India win eight of their last ten ODIs played here.
Established in 1958, Barabati Stadium has a rich history, having hosted three Tests, 27 ODIs, and three T20 Internationals to date.

1st T20I: Jan 22, 2025, Chennai
2nd T20I: Jan 25, Kolkata
3rd T20I: Jan 28, Rajkot
4th T20I: Jan 31, Pune
5th T20I: Feb 2, Mumbai
1st ODI: Feb 6, Nagpur
2nd ODI: Feb 9, Cuttack
