BJP Names Goutam Samantray as Candidate for Jeypore Assembly Seat in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced its candidate for the upcoming Assembly elections for Odisha’s Jeypore constituency. Goutam Samantray has been selected by the BJP to contest the seat in Koraput district for the 2024 polls.

The Congress party has put forward Tara Prasad Bahinipati, the incumbent MLA, as its candidate for the Jeypore constituency.

Meanwhile, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has nominated Indira Nanda, the wife of former minister Rabi Nanda, to run for the Jeypore Assembly seat.
