BJP Leader Bijoy Mohapatra’s Son Arabinda Joins BJD

Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra’s son Arabinda Mohapatra joined the BJD on Thursday.

He visited Naveen Niwas, the residence of BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik, to join the ruling regional party of Odisha.

According to reports, Arabinda is involved in political activities in the Patkura assembly segment in Kendrapara district, which was earlier represented by his father. In the past, he had hinted about his desire to join politics.

Bijoy Mohapatra represented the Patkura assembly seat in the Odisha assembly four times in a row- in 1980, 1985, 1990 and 1995.
