Bombing in Jajpur Dist, 6 Injured

Jajpur: At least six persons were injured, when some miscreants hurled a crude bomb at them at Ratnag under Bari Ramachandrapur area of Odisha’s Jajpur district on Sunday. One of the injured is critical.

According to sources, this bomb was thrown during a violent group clash over some dispute.

The six persons injured in this bomb attack were rushed to the Bari Community Health Centre (CHC). Because of his serious condition, one of them was shifted to the Jajpur District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

After receiving information, a police team reached the spot to initiate an investigation. Armed police personnel were deployed in the area to prevent the escalation of tension.
