BRS Leader K Kavitha Sent to 3-Day CBI Custody in Delhi Liquor Policy Case

New Delhi: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha, who was arrested in March by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the alleged Delhi liquor policy scam, was sent to the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation for three days by a Delhi court.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested BRS leader K Kavitha on Thursday in connection with a corruption case linked to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy.

Her arrest followed a Delhi court’s permission to the CBI to interrogate the BRS MLA.

Kavitha is the daughter of former Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao.
