Centre Designates Notorious Gangster Goldy Brar As Terrorist

New Delhi: The Central Government, on Monday, designated Gangster Goldy Brar as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, citing his affiliation with the proscribed Khalistani outfit, Babbar Khalsa International.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Home Affairs asserted that Goldy Brar, purportedly supported by cross-border terror networks, is implicated in numerous homicides. Additionally, he is alleged to have engaged in issuing threatening calls to pro-nationalist leaders, demanding ransom, and disseminating claims of his involvement in killings across various social media platforms.

The Ministry of Home Affairs emphasized the nexus between the accused and outlawed groups, underlining the need for stringent measures to curb such activities.
