Yo Yo Honey Singh Receives Death Threat from Gangster Goldy Brar; Complaint Lodged

New Delhi: Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has lodged a complaint with the Delhi Police after receiving a death threat from gangster Goldy Brar. The notorious Brar, suspected of being involved in the murder of singer-songwriter Sidhu Moose Wala in Punjab last year, is believed to be hiding in Canada.

Honey, accompanied by his staff, visited the Delhi Police headquarters to meet the Commissioner and provide evidence of the threat. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter.

Expressing his fear and concern, Honey stated, “I am scared, my entire family is scared. Who isn’t scared of death? This is the first time I have received such a threat. I have received calls and voice notes from international numbers, allegedly from Goldy Brar.” He emphasized that he had handed over all the evidence to the Commissioner and requested security and a thorough investigation into the matter.

It is pertinent to mention, on May 29, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in his SUV near his village Moosa in Punjab’s Mansa district. Goldy Brar, also known as Satinderjit Singh, later confessed on Facebook to planning the murder as revenge for the killing of another gangster. Brar is closely associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the main suspect in the Moose Wala murder case.

Adding to the gravity of the situation, Brar was recently included in Canada’s list of the top 25 most wanted fugitives by Interpol-Ottawa’s Fugitive Apprehension Support Team. Brar, who is believed to be in Canada, poses a significant risk to public safety according to Canadian authorities, as the crimes committed by him in India are deemed “very serious in nature.”
