Check Out Week Long Schedule of Consecration Ceremony of Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi Temple

Ayodhya: A seven-day-long consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla will be held at the Ram Janmobhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. The ritualistic ceremony will start on January 16.

On January 16, the host appointed by the temple trust, Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra will conduct the atonement ceremony. The ‘Dashvidh Snan’, Vishnu Pujan and Godan will be held on the banks of Saryu River.

On January 17, the Ram Lalla idol will be taken to Ayodhya in a procession and devotees carrying Saryu water in Mangal Kalash will also reach the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.

Formal rituals for the consecration ceremony will start on January 18. It will involve Ganesh Ambika puja, Varun puja, Matrika puja, Brahmin Varan and Vastu Puja.

On January 19, the establishment of ‘Navagraha’ and ‘havan’ will be done.

On January 20, the Garbhagriha of Ram Janmabhoomi temple will be washed with Saryu water, followed by Vaastu Shanti and ‘Annadhivas’ rituals.

On January 21, the Ram Lalla idol will be bathed in 125 urns. On January 22, after the morning puja, the deity of Ram Lala will be consecrated during the advent of ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra’ in the afternoon.
