Chief of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena Shot Dead in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, a prominent Rajput leader in Rajasthan, who also led the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was shot dead outside his home on Tuesday. Gogamedi’s Rajput Karni Sena led the protests against the Bollywood movie Padmaavat.

According to police sources, two men on a scooter opened fire at Gogamedi and two of his associates. The three injured were rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared Gogamedi dead. The other two injured are undergoing treatment.

Gogamedi separated from Karni Sena in 2015 to form his outfit.
